Abstract :In this study, we constructed a simulation model to generate a surface EMG during isometric exercise. The surface EMG was detected using both unipolar and bipolar lead systems, and the measurement performance of both systems was compared. When detecting surface EMGs using the unipolar lead system, low-frequency components were increased to a greater extent than in the bipolar lead system, suggesting that the unipolar lead system is more suitable for the detection of surface EMGs
